About Zinc Die Casting

Zinc is a widely used and easily available metal. The application of zinc die casting is very wide and everywhere. Zinc alloy die castings are used in many decorative and functional applications.

Zinc can use hot chamber and cold chamber casting processes. In the zinc hot chamber die casting process, the injection mechanism of the hot chamber machine is immersed in the molten metal bath in the metal holding furnace. The furnace is connected to the machine through a metal feeding system.
The cold chamber die casting process is opposite to the hot chamber method. In the cold room, molten metal is poured into the cold room or cylindrical sleeve through a ladle. The hydraulically operated plunger seals the port of the cold chamber and presses the metal into the mold cavity under high pressure.
